So that's until june I will have to wait then. Might have to do separate sittings then since I'm not sure I can wait as long. Did a season 1 marathon with friends last year which was a success, but I'm not as sure I can hold out til june!

I thought season 2 would have 12 episodes?

Apparently the production schedule for GoT is hectic to the point where putting in another 2 episodes would result in the producers not getting any off time at all during the year, and would increase the show's budget to an uncomfortably high level (in Season 2's case, adding another 2 episodes would have raised the budget well past $80 million, which is taking the show into ROME territory).

So 12 was apparently impossible for this season, and apparently for any season to come. The producers are proceeding on the basis there will be between 7 and 9 ten-episode seasons.

So now we know we cannot look forward to episodes by Vanessa Taylor. Stupidest, most tactless episode so far.
